Sandstone Cottage Garden
Project Overview
Our client lives in a traditional sandstone cottage with part of a former stone outhouse still situated within the garden. They wanted to create more space for both planting and relaxation while keeping the character of the property intact.
Garden Design
We designed the garden to form two distinct zones — a paved seating area and a gravelled section — separated by raised planters that add structure and additional planting space. The blend of natural materials results in a soft, organic feel that complements the age and style of the cottage, creating a garden that feels both practical and sympathetic to its surroundings.
