New-Build Garden Transformation
Project Overview
We designed this garden for a home in a new-build development where, as is often the case, the outdoor space initially consisted of a simple lawn with a small area of paving. Our client envisioned a garden rich in planting that would feel lush and immersive, offering a peaceful retreat during the summer months. She also required a way to limit her dog’s access to certain areas of the garden, without compromising the overall design.
Garden Design
We created a garden with generous planting beds that wrap around the entire space, enveloping it in greenery and colour while attracting butterflies and bees. A dividing wall and gate were introduced to restrict the dog’s access to certain areas of the garden. Beyond this, a seating area sits beneath an oak pergola, surrounded by lush, layered planting. The upper level features a small lawn and a paved area, perfectly positioned to catch the light at the end of the day.
