Garden Design Brief

Our client had moved into a new-build property in the Horsforth Vale estate in Leeds. Many of these new-build properties are built with featureless gardens, so our client wanted to divide the space into useable areas.

Landscaping & Construction

The design we produced split the garden into two tiers; a paving area and a lawn. We used mediterranean-style white sawn sandstone paving which gave the garden a contemporary look. We laid a deep-pile artifical lawn on the lower tier edged by steel border to contain the surrounding flower beds. As part of the design process, we produced a lighting plan to make the garden look equally stunning at night, highlighting the pleached trees that were planted along the rear of the garden. We produced a simple planting plan that would add colour during the spring and summer months and would accentuate the mediterranean feel of the garden.
